"Mike,
I would charge $1000 labor plus parts for the tranny swap. Plan on spending about $1000 or so for parts including tranny, pedals, etc.
I charge $2750 for labor on a 3sgte or V6 swap. The parts for a 3sgte swap are about $3500 including engine, parts, tranny, etc... This is a complete swap, with all functions working correctly such as AC, cruise, no check engine light falshing all the time, etc....."
~Carl Crawford
I emailed him, and this was the price quote i received. What do you think? I'm planning on it sometime in the near future. He repsonded to my email right away, i'm glad i didn't have to wait forever. Take care.

That is a very fair quote you are getting. Not to mention that Ive dealt with Carl on several occasions and he is a top notch guy. For the experience and quality work you'd be getting, thats a great price.
In the future though, try not to post the contents of private email messages on the public forum. The other party may not appreciate the conversation being broadcast. Thanks.

I will have to agree and add to what Ratko said. Carl Crawford is one of the few guys I would turst with myb Camry... His is a very knowledgable and very good business man. I dont have anything bad to say about Carl Crawford and his work partice. His a stand up guy and will not screw you or screw up your car.
How come whenever I email this guy, he never responds to my emails? Maybe he thinks I am not serious about what I am asking? I'm sure he probably does know what he is talking about but I guess my business is better off somewhere else.
