$125 for CT-26 [Good deal?]

CT-26 from a toyota supra for sale, in good condition with very little shaft play, used this turbo for about a month and it did not smoke at all, including wastegate,o2 housing, part of the downpipe, and all oil/water fittings

he's asking $125. Is this a good deal? I am thinking about it. Thank you for your input.

would the supra downpipe be useable or is a 3sgte downpipe still necessary?

Flanges would be the only thing the same. The engine configurations are night and day between the 2JZ and 3SGTE, so the downpipes gotta be different.

Which is better?

I will soon be getting a 5spd trans, and i want a turbo. What would be the better route to go? for 5S-FE

For 5SFE reliabiltly, and in your case, you should go with the RIPP SDS instead of a custom 5SFE turbo setup.

RIPP will take care of everything you need. For a custom turbo setup, I don't think you know what your doing personally, judging by the content of your posts. Thats just my guess. Do you even have a list of what your turbo setup will consist of ??

Not trying to burn you man. Just trying to tell you in the nicest way I can that I don't think you're in a position to be taking on a turbo project yet. You still got lots of time to learn. No flames here bro.
