Unhappy stock or aftermarket? gearheads only

I was searching the forum and everyone that wanted to put turbo or their 4 cyl. camry's put on the stck turbo manifild from a 3s-gte. I wanted to put something other then a ct-26 turbo (after a rebuild of the motor). I was wondering could i put for example a aftermarket turbo manifold that could fit something like a t3-t4 turbo on my cam? i would appreciate the help mainly from tn's gearheads.

If you wait a bit i will be selling custom turbo kits and individual parts including tubular turbo manifolds.

You can always seek out on aftermarket turbos that would bolt up to a 3S-GTE (MR-2). Look for some MR-2 specific turbo upgrades and you should be able to find some aftermarket turbos.

You can also have an adapter flange made so an aftermarket turbo will bolt up to the existing turbo manifold. If not, you can always get the actual manifold modified with a T4 flange for example... You will need to buy a flange and you will need a welder to weld on a flange that matches the aftermarket turbo.

For your needs a ct26 is more then enough so stick to the stock cast manifold its cheap and easy to find.

Its easy to pass the smog but the visual might be a problem in CA since I would need to get my kits 50 state tested and approved.I already have a kit for then non CA cars but I could probably adapt the kit to fit your car too.
