I am assuming that the Rod Millen front bumper kit is just a lip since it is called a Lip Spoiler. Has anyone bought this and does anyone have any pictures of other cars with it on them?
How would you connect this to your bumper because i am thinking of getting one before i get my car repainted?
good idea, searched, found some stuff but you guys that had it installed did you do it yourself or get a shop to do it, if i buy it me and my dad are going to install it but how hard would it be. How do you attach it? Is BONDO required??
And painting wont be a problem since my whole car will be repainted.
pretty much easy to install it...just take off the oem bumper and connect the lip to how it is and drill holes and screw it and you can use 3m tape too...not that hard at all

if it s a LIP why would you have to take off the whole OEM bumper to attach it, what im trying to get at is this a lip- something you connect to factory bumper - or a complete bumper replacement.
my definition of a lip spoiler is somethign that connects to the old bumper, someone please correct me if im wrong!

You don't take the front bumper off with these lip kits. What is required is that you have to cut a few peices to get it to fit properly. When I did it I left the bumper on, but I recommend that you take it off so that you can see from the back side of the cover where you need to cut. that way you get a perfect fit. AS far as mounting the bumper, I had used 3m tape and screws in the wheel well. This is not the best way to do it. I will be redoining mine later this week. What you need is either SEM Flex bond or Duramix Flexbond. After you have this you can use screws in critical points all over the bumper, then use the flex bond to cover the holes. also the flexbond is applied between the stock bumper and the lip.. this way it is attached and you won't have to worry about it.
yup, there are certain cuts u have to make to the oem bumper. when i installed mine i didn't take off the oem front bumper because i simply don't need to. if you don't know how to cut your oem bumper, i suggest you take it to a shop to get a good fit.
my dad and i cut my back bumper to fit my dual exhaust, we can prob cut this just fine.
yall dont have any pics up close like to the cuts or where you screwed it in do you
