Front bumper conundrum

would just a front bumper Evo IV look awkward without the side skirts and rear bumper additions of the body kit ? I dont think I can afford the entire thing, my only qualms about body kits is that I am afraid its going to be too low and its going to smack into everything....

Evo IV Body kit :

will it look weird? i say... yes.

if you can't aford it all at once then buy it piece by piece. ain't nothing wrong with that. then when you have all the pieces, get it installed and painted (please don't drive around with an unpainted kit). either that or save up until you can afford the whole kit. it may take awhile but you gotta work for what you want.

if you're worried about scraping... then you shouldn't even be thinking about getting a body kit.

here's an article from HCI magazine that i posted a while back. it shows the install of that exact kit on that exact car. check out page 5 for a good view of the kit. try and imagine how low the front bumper would hang compared to the stock sides and rear.

unless you drive 12 mph and know every incline and hole in the road, you are going to scrape, but dont worry, after your first 2 or 3 scrapes, you stop caring after a while
