hey guys im looking for some new rims on a tight budget

ideally i want 17's etc. but i am worried about ongoing low profile tire costs

so

if i got 14's for a gen 2, would it even be worth it? im concerned that with the style i want (many thin spokes, chromey) that it iwll just look unneccassary

i want beg rims and little tires but cant afford that

if i went to 15's or 16's what kind of tires would i need , medium affordable ones or lows again (particularly 16 as they would be big enough)

also, if u get a tire that has a DIFFERENT outside diameter, eg 16's with big 16's tires, obviously my speedo will be out

even if i get it calibrated, will the car be slower or faster

obviously it has to rotate less to go same distance, so rpm's wil be a lower, but will it be sluggish

or do you avoid different sizes all together and ensure the outer tire is the same

therefore
a) will 14's be worth it so i can keep my tires
b) will 16's if not 15's need low expensive tires
c) is it bad to change outer size (ie 16's with bigger tyres not lows)
