What are your experiences with the 1MZ-FE? Has it been a trouble free motor for you guys, Any piston slap or bearing knock?

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at? Bearing knock? Piston slap? On a properly running motor, you should get neither. Unless your motor is toasted, really high mileage -- even then mileage is not a concern as I've heard of 300,000+ kms on people's V6s and it's still running good.

Maybe I'm missing something or it's getting late but I haven't heard the term 'bearing knock' used before. Engine knock yes...

Anyhow, both of your questions should be non existant.

I have 103,000 trouble free miles. Piston slap or bearing knock? Sounds like someone doesn't know what regular maintainance is...specifically oil changes.

I have 65000miles aprox and so far i have just had problems with my knock sensors going and that was pretty expensive.Other then that this engine is one strong Biotch.
