if this has been asked before i am sorry- i searched and found nothing, what do you have to do to post pictures of your car in your messages, under your name, or anywhere they will show up just so you don't have to have a link people click on
if this is in another thread- could someone just point me there

What Are Attachments?
The administrator may allow you to use the attachment feature of this board, which gives you the ability to attach files of certain types to your posts. This could be an image, a text document, a zip file etc. There will be a limit to the file size of any attachments you make, as the board should not be used as an extension of your hard disk!
To attach a file to a new post, simply click the [Browse] button at the bottom of the post composition page, and locate the file that you want to attach from your local hard drive.
Only certain types of files may be attached: these are the valid file extensions for files to be attached to this board: gif jpg png txt bmp jpeg.
After posting, the attachment will show up in the body of your message. To view the contents of the attachment (if it is not already displayed) simply click the filename link that appears next to the attachment icon .
yeah i know how to attach an image- but how do you just put an image in your post so that you have your text and a picture there on the screen and there is no attachment or link to click, like you have the twisted clown pic in your responses, how do you get that there and how do u get images under your name...

use "image tags"...
for example,
click on the quote button, and you can see i added "[img ]" and "[/img ]"...
find a server...
to get the "URL" or the site's/image's address...
go to settings, click on "user profile" and where you typed in your signature, you use the image tags, to link a pic....
as for the pic under my name, that's under "user options", and the image HAS to be MAXIMUM of 80 x 80 pixels...
once again, this is all explained in the FAQ...

i guess i just didn't get that shia too good in the intro explanations but i will look over it again and what u said and play with it till i get it... i know us nooooooooooobs have this "dumb" questions but soon enough i will say something smart and contribute well to the boards... until then i guess i will still be a dorky new guy
