upgrade harness installed ...but not working

i just installed a pair of upgrade lighting harness (from suvlight.com)... now my low beam works (night driving) and my high beam works (night highway driving)... but my daytime driving light doesn't work... it's weird... because high beam uses both low beam and daytime light, and it works.... just when i want to use daytime light for regular driving during daytime, it won't work!!!
i don't know what's wrong, i installed according to the instruction on the website, and it doesn't work...
does anyone have the same problem? or is the harness suppose to work like that?

any help is appreciated
thx

maybe you did something to the relays by accident while you were installing the harnesses?

DRL's on gen 5 camrys use a modulated power flow create the DRL effect (less output than full high beam) think of sine wave but only using half the wave...

i'm thinking maybe the relays don't like that? either way.. you would still lose DRL function. the relays wouldn't be able to mimic the power flow for DRL's (they only have on/off function). u can always pull the harness portion out of the high beams and go stock.

I thought Gen5s have separate low-high beams???

I don't understand installing a harnesss on your low beams would affect your DRLs.

wire harness from suvlights for 9005/9006 setup comes as a harness for both light fixtures. i assumed that was the case for him. try un plugging the harness off your highs to see if that fixes things
if not... than it's whole new problem.

But what's the point of upgrading your DRL/high beam harness???

Unless you plan to run your high beam 5 days straight, even then you have trouble melting the harness.

i'm planning to just go back to my stock socket for my DRL/Highbeam, and use the upgrade harness for my low beam... cuz i'm running just regular output bulbs for my DRL/Highbeam... so i don't think it should matter...
