Angry Running Lights Problem

I recently bought a 2000 Toyota Camry, and I absolutely love it, except for one problem.
My car has the running lights, which I like, but when I need to stop for a minute, and try to dim my headlights, they won't dim.
Do you know any way around this?
Thanks for your input, cause this is driving me mad trying to get my parking lights to work...

There is a TSB (Toyota service bulletin) how to do this. Also do a search for "DRL" here and I'm pretty sure you'll find the answer - I've seen it a few times...

Not sure what you mean here ("parking lights to work") ...
