TRD or Tokico
I have a 2001 Camry, I currently want to change my struts setup from TRD (Bilstein) to Tokico. However, I had a chat with a friend, he told me that if it was him, he would choose to keep the TRD setup. He told me that Bilstein has a much better reputation than Tokico, I should not downgraded my struts. I am not too familiar with automotive companies or who makes better products,so what would you guys suggest me to do? The thing is that I find TRD struts are quite harsh (well, it is for track), not really ideal for street use. I have never taken a ride with someone who has Tokico setup, so I don't know if there is a huge difference in term of ride quality (however, it seems like that in the other tread I started)..
The harshness of the ride is primary due to the struts right? even if I change from Eibach to H&R or Vogtland, it would not help with the comfort right?
