Polyurethane spring seat insulators?

So I saw a rather esoteric product, a washer type thing that goes in your spring seat like the stock rubber piece. Presumably stiffens the ride and has greater durability.

But does it help that much? Anyone ever tried them? My stock ones don't look bad at all. I might rotate them.

Anyone switched front springs while doing a strut install?

It's mostly for durability.

You have to remove the springs when changing struts...

I was being sarcastic there, hope I didn't offend.

Anyway I decided to stick with my original ones, which worked fine for the fronts. When I took the rear wheel off I noticed the left rear one is practically shredded. The normal rubber ones are very hard to find, particularly the rear ones.

I have some self-mix poly, so I was planning on putting that as a backing and covering for the original ones, which worked fine for the front. The rear is just too shredded to even try that. And I don't want to try to mold the exact shape out of my self-mix poly either.

Since I have to wait at least a day or two to get them anyway, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as far as a good/cheap source for these?
