Busted coolant resevoir tank

I know that you guys ALL have problems with the plastic on the tanks breaking down and cracking/chipping. Some of you said taht you made custom tanks, when ghetto and just put a bucket there, etc. Any one here have pictures of what they did to fix it?

I just discovered that the tank on my 1996 camry is starting to break down right where it mounts to the retaining clip.

That's what I was going to do, but I was afraid of the chipping plastic on the inside of the tank falling into the coolant and being sucked into the radiator.... possible??

or be like me and pay $46 to your local toyota dealer for a new reservoir.

Now that I think about it, I could've used a tupperware dish and saved $46.

That's my unhelpful 2 cents.

True....i look at it now like my drunk driving accident - one of those things I shouldn't have gone through, but one of those things I'll never be dumb enough to do again.
