Unhappy Speedy Blinker

My right turn signal is going super fast. I checked it out and the front bulb wasn't going. I replaced it, but nothing changed. It's still speedy and still not blinking in the front. I remember seeing a thread about this once, but I couldn't find it. Help please!

fast blinker means an open in the system, usually a bulb, but if you changed it, then its probably a wiring problem

eh my ex-roomate was having that problem on his 97 v6
he would just hit the car near the light and it would fix temporarily, dont think he ever permanently fixed it though

i got your problem when i was changing my corner lights, no flash, fast blink sound in the car

i fixed my problem by tightening the connection between the wiring of the car to the light, it was loose

i've got that same problem, but i have no front bar, and therefore, the front blinkers aren't connected. is there any way to fix it before i put the front bar back on?

i have the exact same problem

you just take the bulb out and try to ply the metal terminals of the socket out a abit so that it touches the bulb nicely

i have no problem after that

crazy_camry, cos you have no blinker connected at the front, there's an open circuit so it will always blink that fast until you connect it again. Found that out after i smashed my car. when i took off the connector it blinked fast but when i put it back on then it was normal...you might want to try and find a way around this eg zip-tying the blinker to the chassis somewhere or just ignore it...when are you putting the front bar back on? after you put the intercooler on yeh??

yeah what i was thining was getting the bulb and stuff and plugging it back in, and tucking it up somewhere.

to be honest, i don't want to put the front bar back on, gives it a unique, dare i say, ricer look . but i will end up doing it eventually, i'm sure the cops will give me grief. also if i put it back on, both the intercooler and tranny cooler will not get much airflow. we'll see what happens.
