cut or heat

alrighty, time to lower the ry. friends in the car club say heat the bottom of the spring to compress them but other guys say cut em off. whats the best to do for my 89 3sfe. its ridding factory now with factory steels for the winter but the motegi 16's are goin on in the spring. what do i do?

don't they make lower springs for you car? i wouldn't heat or cut them

Do yourself a favor and get some lowering springs. Intrax makes a set for your car.

Cutting or heating springs is ghetto.

yeah, i'd recomend some lowering springs, but if you must be ghetto, then cut, or clamp

neither of these are good for the car, but it'll do

Yeah, dont be ghetto. Just get some lowering springs. The ride quality on cut springs is horrible. In addition, it is very easy for other people to tell that they are cut when you are driving, which is not a stigma I would like to associate with my car.
