I have the same problem but I also have water in my wheel wells. Have you figured a solution yet?

You could take out one of the rubber stoppers out of the spare tire well.

I have the same problem, but its in the jack storage area...I guess new rubber seals are needed....

I even took a flash light, folded down the rear seat backs, during a hard rain and crawled tho that hole(tough I'm a big guy) to see if I could pin point the leak....but I couldn't.

Maybe u can shut a "good friend" in the trunk, soak it real good with a hose, find the source of the leak that way....I just leave a large towel in with jack to soak up any leaks.

I'll fix it one day!

Have had this issue on other cars. Typically needed to pull the trunk side interior panels then follow the water trail upward. Often even when dry you can see a trail.

Issues included leaks where any exterior trim panels attachment brackets went through the body, leaking rear window seal, leaking rear taillight assy, leaks coming through side rusted out areas, leaks in upper trunk gasket area.
