How long did everyone’s stock breaks last? Mine are stock and have 104,000km on them, there is still 30% pads left on the front. Should I just replace them now?? There is nothing wrong with them yet.

I also should have my timing belt replaced… I guess. How much should this cost? I think Toyota said $300-$400 for a 1994 I4

O, CamryRR, I have pictures of my stock air intake system so you can help me with my custom system, if you want and have time. The only problem is they are really high rez 500k each and Zipping the JPG file does almost nothing

As the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Unless you have a need to spend money or need more braking power (doubt it), don't bother with replacing them.

Just as a side note...

When/if you decide to replace your timing belt, consider replacing water pump and plugs at the same time.

Good luck with the custom air.

I had to program in COBOL also... I feel your pain

I go to Kwantlen in Surrey BC ha ha Surrey...

My internet service provider decided to drop my service after 1 free year of service how rude!! Actually I worked for them and they just forgot to get rid of my ID after I quit. So... I will not be on here much until I get my Internet form Telus on Tuesday.

Why change the water pump? Do they break often in a Camry?

Im thinking of replacing my water pump for an electric one and making less engine stress.I seen at least +-6hp gains just from having one less thing on the drive belt.
