Wheels!?

Guys I'm sorry... I was looking for the reccomended rim/wheel size and I could of sworn it was in the sticky. I did a search... but didnt have much luck... can someone gimme the link and/or recommendations for a gen 3?

what size wheel do you want here's my 17's
215/45/17 with a 40+ offset
you could go with 225's but make sure your offset is perfect so no rubbing occurs

215 is the number that measures the width of the tire (millimeters maybe, some one confirm this)

45 is the percentage height of the tire from wheel to top or bottom (EX. 45 % of 215 = height from wheel to top or bottom)

17 is the size or rim high, my rims are 17 by 7 wide

40+ offset is the distance from the backside of where the lug nuts go to the center of the wheel, you can have ositive and negative offsets, a picture could explain it more let me find one

the best sizing is actually 225/45/17 or 215/50/17, but most people get 215/45/17 cuz I think the tires are cheaper/easier to get???

I don't know, but that's what's popular, even tho its the first two that I mentioned that looks best cuz it fills out the tire weels better
