How to tel if 99 Camry has external amplifier?

I have a 4 cylinder 99 Camry LE with factory CD player (not 6 CD changer). No sunroof, and cloth seats, if that matters. I want to add a parrot ck3100 car kit. There are two wiring harnesses: one for Camry's without an amp, and another for Camry's with the amp. How do I tell if mine has the amp?

Thank you in advance!

The harness without the amp appears to have 2 -plugs, the remote amp harness something like a single 15 pin plug.

what I meant to ask...

Thanks for the response. What I meant to ask is: how do I tell if my Camry has the amp (i.e. how do I determine which harness I need to buy?). Did you mean I should take out the radio and see if it's connected to the car via one or two connectors to the car's harness?

More than likely it is a NON-JBL, which means you would need the TOY-1

Usually if the car is not fully loaded and if there is no JBL logo on the radio, you do not have a amplified JBL system. If you want to be certain you can call the dealer.

I think you have the standard radio!

Thanks!

There is no JBL designation, and it was not fully loaded (i.e. no sunroof or leather seats; not an XLE). I've not had very good luck with dealers, so I'm going to assume that it's the non-JBL version.

Thanks for the help.

I would play the radio with bass turned up with engine on, then turn engine off and key in ACC position, if the sound is hollow, or bass is lost, then the amp has turned off.

Thanks. I bought the parrot ck3100 and the toy-1 wiring harness from safewireless. Outstanding service, and the kit works fine in the car. So I must not have the JBL :-)
