The only real "TRD" part avail for Gen4 Camrys is the SC. Other than that, everything else is made by other companies with "TRD" slapped on it..not to mention inflated prices or is offered by other companies.
TRD Springs= Eibach
TRD Struts=Bilstien
TRD Intake Filter=K&N
TRD swaybar=Whiteline makes one (non-adjustable)
TRD SS brakelines= Goodridge make a set
TRD sticker= ebay :p
I was think of a short throw shifter. One of the other people (mod I think) said he had one under development or something like that. Who makes their short throw shifter, or is that theirs?

You can thank a ~50 year old married lady that works at a GI (poo poo place) office for buying it brand new in 1997. She wanted a family sedan for her kids (grandkids maybe), and she wanted some omph and a 5-speed. This was not some 16 year old ricers beater. Although she ONLY got oil changes and did little other maintinence, the car is in great condition and over the next year, I will be doing little things to it to get it perfect. It's funny, I have been pulling pens, hair clips and other stuff out of the shift linkage, but I would MUCH rather do that than have to replace CV joints and stuff like that from abuse.
If I saw her again, I would thank her for keeping the car so damn nice.

That is because it is not short shifter, rather a quick shifter. It does shorten the throw, but due to the seat position relative to the shifter, it is not too much shorter than stock in its height.

true true..what I meant was you can't actually call up Magnuson and say "Can I order part # blah blah blah for my Camry" Whereas with all the other parts, they have unique part numbers without the inflated TRD price and yet are identical for all intensive purposes.

I was actually responding to silver cartel but what you said is very true ( I know - I live in ventura and went over to the magnuson plant which is 5 minutes down the street to try to buy the charger and they wouldnt let me )
