pity you didnt get it a couple of months ago when your dollar was much stronger. as for getting it, i'd say email below and ask them if they can do it, though you would be paying heaps for it, genuine toyota parts cost heaps, especially new gadgets like what you want. i reckon it would be cheaper buying an aftermarket one.
Well I did the conversions when I first check out those Japanese Navigations........and the monitors go for about 300-500 USD, which ain't bad at all, must be something missing.
Eclipse (FujitsuTen) used to make a dbl din LCD/CD like that. I went to their website, but couldn't find it. I guess they discontinued it with the increase in popularity of motorized LCDs.

Really? It was flush like that? Because that's what I'm looking for.
Was it just a control LCD or did it have AV capabilities?
thisdj, have you thought about the TV that came in some of the Lexus sc400/toyota soarer? i'm thinking you might be able to integrate that in some how....not sure

Huy
Was it located flush in the dash or in the upper part of the dash?
Because I know some are located above the radio, and those wont fit.......it would have to be the double-din ones.
that's the best pic i can find, you might be able to put it in, maybe not because the actual screen is integrated fairly well, some of the have gps and stuff too, it's also a touch screen, i think, it's been a while since i jumped in my mates car. these screens came stock on some cars only, if i get the chance i'll try and take a pic of my mates car...
where were you planning on mounting the screen, would it be possible to rig up a conventional screen and make custom brakcets for it, or use a headrest style kit except your going to install it in the dash?
personally i think there would be to much trouble in getting an oem unit, there's just so many wires and the screen provides info on alot of aspects, trip, cruise, audio, visual, etc... if your' just going to put in a screen, i'd go with jsut a custom mounted screen, but then i'm not sure wat your up to
nah...that wont fit.......this is what would work:
front
back
That unit above has a built in CD/Tape deck........a lot of those connections on the back will work directly with my harnesses, including my CD Changer.

I'm assuming you know that Eclipse (Fujitsu Ten) is the OEM maker of Toyota decks.
The screen I mentioned was a dbl din, flush mount and virtually identical to the one you're looking for with the exception of integrated Nav. and TV tuner. It's a beautiful piece of equip if you can get your hands on it for a reasonable price.

Damn, if you could find a model number or a picture, that would be awesome, bet it would show up on ebay one day.
Good work! Wait 'til you see the price! Well worth it if your got the dough though I hate the motorized ones. They always crap out on you and look cheesy sticking out
