Hey guys....wanted to say I got hold of my friend's digital camera again to take some new photos of the new 6.4 in LCD motorized in-dash TV and DVD. Also took pics of my new amp-rack and cap and strobes. Just click on my SoundDomain page for pics and details.

Wow nice job! Especially in the trunk!

Did you do all that by yourself?

Thanks guys.....well I did all the trunk work myself and the strobes/neon. I did have the place I bought the TV install it so I could keep the factory warranty. Gauge wise....those are the E.L. Gauges from Procarparts.com. They have worked out very well...no complaints at all!

Wow nice job on the trunk once again... I'm speechless. How did you do it? It looks like a very complicated custom job. What did you do?? lol

Well the trunk really wasn't all that much work. Basically two separate rectangle single 12 in. boxes (each about 1.0 ft3) placed in the rear corners of the trunk...with a center piece (basically for looks and stability). The amp rack is simple. Wiring wise...im running 2 gauge from the battery to the cap...and then 4 gauge from the cap to the 3 amps. Have strobes and neon in the trunk as well. However, this month I'm going to venture into fiberglass and mold the boxes better to the corners...and give alittle more airspace. I'm hitting 147.9 DBLs....want to boost that up a little. Will also be adding a second cap...one for each amp.

Wow nice work you got there.

Now you remind me of more neons I need to put in to my seats and trunk with little relays to switch them on and off.

Really? I'm curious where youre thinking of attaching them on the seats. I kinda want to add a second small set to light up the back....was thinking maybe to the bottom rear of the front seats...but worried since mine's a Solara and the passenger seat has to move constantly that the wiring will come loose.

NICE setup. I seriously think that is one of the nicest setups I have seen on a Toyota. This excludes Celicas and Supras...being that their so popular and all. But that is serioulsy, very very nice man. Congrats on the fly car.

Thanks guys....I really appreciate the good words. As I said I will be redoing the boxes and fiberglassing....and then with the tax refund....getting some 17in rims  Hopefully by that point I can do some car shows. To this point I've gone to all the local car audio shows and have done pritty well. A handfull of firsts and second places. But I do like it b/c I've saved the majority of my trunk...but can still hit 147.9 DBLs....lol. Was curious if anyone knew if and when the Solara TRD kits might be going down? Really would jump on that if they hit $400 like the Camrys did.

WOW, I was gonna ask you if your spl had gone down because of having the subs face the other way, but i guess not. Some people say that when you have them facing toward the cabin it doesnt work as well. Hmm I wouldn't mind modeling my trunk off or yourts, except since i'm just running one just making the other sub area an amp rack. ahahah you got me thinking again, iw as just goin to stay with my simple box and amp setup. Just curious are all those three amps goign to your jl's or are you running some type of components? that is a very very clean install.
