Mysterious Over Heating

Im starting to think the V6 is a horrible engine, Ive been sold one with a cracked block and am currently on the second one. It randomly overheats, radiators been drained, thermostat replaced, voltage to the fan was checked and it operates...but it still overheats a lot and today there was anti freeze allover everything but theres no leak or huge hole in one of the hoses. Anyone know whats wrong? Any ideas are appreciated.

Also it burnt almost 2 quarts of oil in under 1400 miles...wtf lol

what year? what car? what engine? did you check where the source of the spillage is coming from? if it's anti-freeze, then i'd check the radiator, do a test at idle and see where it does this. did you check your hoses? etc... it's not very descriptive.

I found the culprit today, I drove home from school and while I was talking to me mom I saw a puddle form under my car so I popped the hood and low and behold theres a crack about halfway along the top of my radiator haha

I got the new one today and am putting it in tomorrow, anyone know a good way to drain it so I dont kill any rodents or birds? They love that sweet stuff

Yes, with the drain/petcock into a suitable clean container. Then pour it back into your car.

That explains why a crack half way across the top of the radiator was mysterious to you...

Collect it in a container. Do internet search for "recycle" or "waste" in you area.
