Clutch

How can we test if our clutch is good or not?

Some people say try to start in 3rd gear if you can it means your clutch is going bad....

What do you think?

you can really start in any gear, just that starting in 3rd gear takes more time than starting in first, you can start in 5th, but that'll prolly take you around 1min of burning the clutch, so i think it isn't a good way of testing out your cluctch to see if it is good or not, i don't know any other ways of testing.

if you find out a good way, POST IT HERE!, cause i think my clutch is going bad

on the topic of clutches... if you replace a regular clutch with a "sport" clutch, what does that mean exactly. cause in my sister's legacy the clutch doesn't seem to come out as far, kinda hard to explain, but its definitly harder to drive than the cam.

hit the throttle, if your rpm's go up but your speed doesnt, then the clutch is worn.
