i was thinking of replacing my 17" wheels w/18" wheels on my 99 camry. should i replace 17s w/another style 17" wheel or go ahead and get 18s. remember i have to drive back and forth everyday to work. if i get 18s,what is the recommended size tire. right now the car is lowered 1.5 front and back on intraxs. and what is the recommended size 18" wheel. 18x7 or 18x7.5. let me know the scoop. i drive on 18's all the time. theyy are 18 by 7.5. they are fine with driving. i would say scew the 17's and go wit the 18's. they wil make the car look better. what color is yourcar? if it's black i suggest getting 18's or 19's in chrome. i would look hot. as for exact tire size i don't know what you should get. i'll try to find out. what is your stock tire size now???

Hey,

I have 18's on my Black Camry, and I say definitely get the 18's. They look so much better.

Also, for some reason, I guess the Camry is a pretty well sized family sedan so a lot of people think they are actually 17's.

I haven't dropped my car yet though

I have 18" rim's on my 96 LE and they ride just fine and I have 245-40-18 series tires with no problems accept when people sit in the back it rub's the rim weld a little but I also have the stock struts and springs.... I'm going to get some aftermarket shocks and stiffer springs for my car.
