Does any of you guys installed HID into your gen 5 ?
i just bought a philips 4300k conversion kit. I need help installing it. thnx

What do you need help with? I've installed HID in both Gen 4.5 and Gen 5.

basically i don't know anything about car alterations. I want to know if there are special wiring for the installation. Cuz from the given installation charts, it says i have to connect the wires to the fuse and relays. Which really confuses me. I thought it's supposed to be plug and play.
and btw should i disconnect the batteries first before installing and where would be a good place to mount the ballast?

If you could, snap some pics since wiring harnesses vary (i.e. include relays, etc) You need not disconnect the battery, but it's best to do so just in case.

I've seen your ads on ebay for the HIDs, are you normally just selling the housings, or the whole hid system (projectors, wiring, etc,) and if so, what company are you getting the projectors from?

All I'm selling is my old Camry headlamps I retrofitted with HID........and some bulbs from another install.

Other then that, I don't sell any other HID equipment on ebay. I just do referrals for my friend.

where is a good place to mount the philips ballast in a Gen 5 camry?
