2nd gen suspension DIY

Hi, im new here and my dad was having some trouble wit his suspension and its really soft, does anyone know any DIY suspension install guides or how-tos for a 88 camry? I searched and i didnt find any...

also how can i tell if its sealed or servicable? wat are shock cartridges? is it easy to change arm bushings cuz my dad's is cracked?
im also planning on changing suspension on my 90' accord so i was planning on getting a head start for the camry.

i'd go buy a haynes manual if i were you, like 20 bucks and you have how to's for everything
