Need info..

Hey guys...

I have a Camry 1988, just got it for work...

I am just a student, can't afford much...
I was wondering what other engines would fit this car?

It's got 332,000 km, 5 speed manual...

I think everything is going to dead on me soon, but then again I got it for $200, can't complain much.

Please help...

thanks guys

Sorry guys.. but I don't know Toyota engine codes...

I checked the internet, I think my car makes about 115hp and 125trq?

I was thhink about fitting a Corolla or any 1.8L engine with the stock tranny.... is that possible?

good luck getting it to fit anyway

you could get the engine from the mr2 turbo/celica all-trac turbo (3sgte) which is basically a turbo version of your engine with a performance head

the 3sge is the same as your engine with a performance head which came from mr2 and celica nonturbos i think
