i am departing my camry (1st car) and goign to a 96 lexus SC300
225hp, rear wheel drive
im still in the toyota family though... so it was cool talking to u guys, u convinced me that camrys are alright.. and for those that achieve fast camrys... AWESOME that really is something having a family sedan beat others, more PROPS
but that's my car!!! is it stick?
my friend had an automatic one, like 97 or 98... he just put it into a telephone pole a few weeks ago though, i never even got to ride in it

add a turbo and metal HG then you will have a SICK car... 2JZ-GE + Turbo = owns almost anything...
its still not the same as the 2jz-gte stock, but its all in the mods baby.....
scepter, please explain yourself... the 2jzgte is the newer version, and swapping that engine in would be a better idea than a 1jz. the car comes stock with a 2jz-ge (nonturbo) you can add a turbo settup and be more powerful than a 1jz swap.

whats the price of a JDM 1jz swap? whats the price of a turbo kit for the 2jz NA... what aftermarket parts are available for the 1jz? and the 2jz? weight the options... it would probably be easier and better to swap in a 2jzgte
