Michelin, GoodYear, BF Goodrich, Toyo and Bridgestone are some of the brands I have had on my cars and happy with.
If you want to get technical, go to the
http://www.tirerack.com or
http://www.discounttires.com websites. Enter your car information and it will give you all kinds of information including customer surveys.
If you are a Costco member, that's another good place for tires. They happen to have a $60 off if you buy 4 Michelin or BF Goodrich Tires.

The stock tire size on your car is 205/65R15.
This is probably the most common tire size out there, so you have a lot of options.
I don't know where you live, but if you live in the North like I do, I always get all-season tires (mostly rain here in Seattle, but we do get a few days of snow every year). If I still lived in Southern California, I would probably consider a more high-performance oriented tire as rains are infrequent and no snow.
