Air Filters brands

Which Air Filters are best for a Gen4 2004 Camry 6 cyl 1MZ engine ?
Ive heard of Purolator, Napa, Fram, Wix, etc
Has anyone tried any of these disposal air filters on there Camry's ? And if so, what are your opinions on it ?

I looked at the Fram one and put it back on the shelf cause it looked too flimsy: there was no top mesh and no siding.

Purolator or NAPA air filters are good choices. NAPA air filters are rebranded Wix filters I believe.

And your 04 Camry is a Gen5 not Gen 4.

I tried the cheapest NAPA filter which was crap. Even Fram was better than it.

If you go to NAPA, get the NAPA Gold. It's the best filter they have.

I have Purolator now and so far so good. I think the Purolator is a bit cheaper than NAPA Gold.
