battery light keeps flickering
just installed a new rebuilt alternator that is like a month old and have a brand new battery installed. serpentine belt is running smoothly. What could possibly be causing my battery light to keep flickering? Has anyone ever had this same problem with their 1992 toyota camry v6 le?

Verify alternator output with a VOM. Lots of rebuilts are defective right out of the box. Check the tightness of all battery connections. Also check the connections at the alternator. Check the tension on the alternator belt. Lastly, have the battery checked. A new battery being defective right out of the box is not unheard of.

I'm betting that your rebuilt alternator is bad.

Perform a charging system test and load the alternator.
