Question Help Me Pick Some Shoes For My Camry!

WHAT UP T-NATION!

I have a decision to make between 19's and 18's
chrome or alloy

The choices are Enki (DM5) or Motegi (DP5)
Both are 18x7.5 wheels, and plan on gun metal or silver!

Right now I have 17" Jupiter chrome wheels, and I love the chrome look, but will it be worth it for these racing wheels.

Not to mention, I really want a 19x8 wheel chrome, but will kill the ride performance, and can I get a tire 40mm or better depth?

I have an 97 Camry LE

Help a brother out!

do you have pix of the rims you want and of the rims you have now???

i'd stick with the 17s for less weight and cheaper rubbers.

but if you really want to go bigger by all means do so. just don't go chromes. i'm not a big fan of chromes plus IMO they only look good for show, not daily driving and not all cars suit chromes.

Like Aussie Ed said...

Not all chrome rims are nice on certain cars but depends on certain color of the car too.

IMO I would just stick with the silver alloy rims or get gunmetal rims or the ones that comes with polished lips or hyperblack rims etc.

But if you do go with strictly performance then 17's would do and plus Advan rims or Volks rims I believe are really light and plus you could save your money towards that instead of getting the 19's and put money into the tires.

Do you still have your stock 5x114.3 steelies that were originally on your car? If so, would you be intrested in selling me 2-5 of them? (if you have a full size spare;5, otherwise just 2-4)...

Thanks man.

Lightbulb SOME 411

WHAT UP PEPS!

It's my crazy ass again!

Yo Aussie, I do have a picture of my current rims on my car, but I'm having a lot of trouble posting a thread with a picture attached!

My man "Sarg" hey I was need some stock steels too! If you call Toyota yourself they can hook you up. The only problem is that they'll charge the crap out of you if you aren't lucky.
How long have you been doing graphics?
