battery light i don't know, but the lights one might be water gettin in contact with the lights at the back... similar thing happend to me

my brake light(the top left corner one) kept coming on, i changed the bulb, fine, then came back on. i just left it and now its gone....try and check all the circuits...it'll be hard to diagnose, well from what i know:p

all the best mate

Update:
okay yesterday i remove my aircon, car starts and i'm driving with my mate, then the lights on the head unit start to dim. stop off at burger king, have something to eat, then try to start, engine wont go. call another mate, he comes and we jump start it. are driving back to my mates place when the lights dim and the engine starts chugging, pull into a service station just before the car dies. call up the NRMA roadside assistance, they come a bit later and jump start the car, but he checks the alternator and says the regulator is worn down. so he charges it so i have power to drive back to my mate's place. stay there for the night then couldnt go to work today as i had to get new Bosch alternator for $233 and put it in.

seems to be fine now...
