Weird Noise in First Gear

For the first time today, when I drove out of my drive way after warming it up for 3mins, I can heard this high pitch noise like something is winding up and it goes away after it shifts out of first gear. As the car warms up more the noise seems to fade, but can still faintly hear it. I have a trip I'm gonna make very soon that'll take 3hrs each way and I'm afraid it might be my transmission. Any ideas? My transmission has also been shifting kind of laggy lately and I have done a DIY flush recently. Drain and fill along with pan drop and cleaning the screen was done 25k miles ago.

Ensure all your vaccum lines are intact. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.

Angry

Alright, looks like my transmission is f*cked. It doesn't shift out of first gear but park, reverse, and neutral works fine. The night before it worked fine, and then the next day this happens. I really don't understand. When it's in first gear, it makes this soft whining noise. I know on the day before I had to reverse very quickly because I missed a parking entrance. My car takes about a sec to fully shift to reverse, but I waited probably half a second before I started to step on the gas to reverse. From the result of that the car chugged a little because the gear wasn't fully engaged yet. What I also don't understand was for the rest of that day, the car drove fine and shifts normally, until the next morning. Is it possible I might've created some shavings in the transmission that it might've clogged a valve or got stuck somewhere where it shouldn't be? I'm pretty pissed and frustrated right now.

Update: It now can shift to all the gears all the way to fourth now after I got off of my classes. But there is still a audible rattling noise every time I accelerate that doesn't sound very good. Is there anything I should check? I'm thinking of dropping the pan to clean the magnets and the screen. I really hope it'll be able to shift again tomorrow morning.

Yeah I've already recently done a DIY fluid flush, so the fluid is cherry red right now. The fluid level is also at the right level.
