Could be that your front wheels are off balance???

I only say this because you mentioned how the shaking is in the steering wheel, and dash....

Does it get worse and worse as you go faster and faster???

Need more info:

Could be lots of stuff:

Mine used to shake at certain speeds. But then I changed out my suspension, got new rims and tires, and an alignment and now is rock solid to 100mph and beyond. Got to test this out quite bit driving from NY to CA.

I would start at the tires, could be out of balance, or have a flat spot, or if your on aftermarket wheels coud be issues there too.

if you are shaking when stopped, it is most likely that you are idling too low (mine does this sometimes) ... I remember the smarter guys in here talking about cleaning your throttle body... maybe im wrong though

your tranny mount could be worn, and/or your axle(s) could be bent

the shaking gets really bad, not like shaking when wheels aren't balanced. It also looks like the hood is shaking as well, with the steering wheel and the whole dashboard. I also noticed it happens more when i'm on the freeway or trying to give it lots of gas. The shaking is never constant. i'll check the tranny mount, and thanks for the help

check your torque mount too (at the top of the engine bay). If its severely cracked, you got a $500 incl/labor mount replacement problem. $220 if you DIY (parts and tools)
