Where do you shop?

Where do you guys go to buy replacement parts for your Camry? I'm talking about belts, hoses, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc. not aftermarket mods?

I'm looking to get new spark plug wires and spark plug for my 1mz. Should I go with OEM or NGK. Please help.

The NGK wires are a little bigger, dont know if they are any better. I usually get all my stuff from the dealer because i own CT Motorsport, and help people save some cash with my venders lic. If your close, ill help you out.

Most of my Camry parts I buy from the dealer. I also have a connection at a nearby dealer. I've been buying parts and cars from this dealer for 15+ years so that helps.

When I go elsewhere (mail order) I go to BMA Parts in Ca. I started using these guys when I bought my 92 BMW 525 (3 yrs ago) and they have very good prices on all foreign car parts. Check em out: www.bmaauotparts.com

I try to use Genuine Toyota whenever possible. The reason? R-E-L-I-A-B-I-L-I-T-Y. I have been burned so many times by the lure of a "Lifetime Guarantee". I have found that Genuine Toyota Parts found in the junkyard (many, many pick-n-pulls in So Cal), outlast the junk in AutoZone and all others...regardless of warranty. The only reason many people do not buy Genuine Toyota is cost. I drive Toyotas for a reason, and intend to keep it that way. There are exceptions in that I do like Bosch wipers and NGK/Denso plugs that I can get at many parts retailers.

There is one question those who have faith in the aftermarket should ask of themselves... "Would I drive a car built by AutoZone?"
