How to get rid of noises from Camry ?

Hi guys, I have a 1998 Camry and I notice the following noises :

1) When the steering wheel is turned full, and the car is still stationary, there is a high pitch sound coming from the front wheel area

2) When braking at near stationary speeds, there is a creaking sound from the brake discs.

How do I get rid of the noises ? Thanks for the inputs !........Mike

When you have your wheel turned all the way the sound you are hearing is you power steering pump straining because you really are not supposed to crank you wheel all the way to one side. Also the noise you hear for the brakes are just the pad meeting the rotors, check them out it might be time to get new pads and turn the rotors. My gen 4 did that and I needed new pads, so check it out.

I didn't have this noise before, even though the steering is maxed out. Is there something that can be adjusted in the power steering system ? Thx.......

it should have been making that noise before...

pretty much all cars do that when you hold full steering travel

as for the other noise, it could just be worn pads, old creaky pads, take off the wheels and have a look see how much is left
