Aluminum wheels for 2009 Camry

I am interested in 16" aluminum wheels for a 2009 Camry LE. I thought there was a $400 option from Toyota on the wheels, but I can no longer find it on line. Does anyone know of a source for OEM wheels for about that price? I am hoping to use my original P215/60/16 tires.

thanks,

rich

I think the $400 option you are referring to would be if you bought the option new when purchasing the car. I bought a 07 LE with steel wheels in 2006, I spent a year and a half looking for 16" OEM rims. They are hard to find, or at least I did not see any. There are some "replica" OEM 16's on ebay. I went with OEM 2007 SE rims, I recently bought new tires, and had them installed.
I like the look of the SE rims, the 17" gives a little more firm ride. I got them on ebay for $389 with lugs, and caps...like new! Good luck...

Ebay is a great source for these. Many people take their factory wheels off and add aftermarket wheels. It took me about 72 hours to do this to my 09 xB.

OEM wheels run about 200 to 400 EACH if you buy them at the Toy store parts counter. Sets can be found on Ebay for 300 to 500 if you are patient. If I were you, I would go with an aftermarket wheel manufacturer. There are literally thousands of choices out there and you can really improve the look of your vehicle over stock. Many offer wheels that would work fine with your tires and TPMS sensors.
