Question Indiglow Gauges dont glow

I just attempted to install my generation 4 indiglow gauges, and I put them in securely, and did everything according to the instructions http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291310149. I set it up so that it would connect to the headlights, the new glow does not work, even when it is set to max.

Possible problems:

the set came with 4 connectors attached to the relay box but there are only 3 gauges, do I have to do something unmentioned with the 4th connector ?

Unlikely, but I could not have the power cord correctly connected to the headlight fuse

I could have gotten a bad unit ( I purchased it off ebay )

--------------
I have the white gauges in now, but it does not glow, what steps should I attempt from here to get it glowing?

You don't have to do anything with the extra connector.

I wouldn't wrap the power wire for the guages around a fuse. Its what I call ghetto rigging.

I would splice the power wire for the guages into the parking light wire.

Have you tried connecting them straight to the battery to see if they work (just for a test)?

Question: How do I isolate the parking light wire since it is behind the fuse box, how do I know which to splice into. You see my dad did wrap it around the fusebox, so it is very possible that it is not getting power. the only thing is we dont know what to splice into.

One of the wires behind the gauge cluster is the parking light wire. I don't know which one it is, buts it there.

What you have to do is use a DMM and find out which wire it is.

I thought you were talking about an alternate battery, but I do know where the car battery is. Thanks for your helpful responses, but what is a DMM ?

DMM = Digital Multi Meter.

It reads volts, ohms, amps, etc..

Look behind the glove box for a relay with a GREEN wire, that should be the wire for the parking lights. Be careful messing with wires behind cluster as this can upset the airbag computer.
