how do you tighten the gas pedal?

my car's gas pedal is a little sluggish, my mom's 4 cylinder feels faster then my v6 because it has a very responsive pedal (almost too responsive sometimes). how do i tighten the wire or whatever to make it a little bit quicker?

You adjust the cable on the throttle body and cruise control actuator (if you have cruise control).

The throttle body is attached to the intake manifold, which has a hose that runs from it, straight to the air filter, so all you have to do, is find your air filter box, and follow the hose straight up until you get to the metal. As for the cruise control system, if you have cruise installed, it should be right beside the battery, right on top of the starter. You will see the cable run from the throttle body down to the little black box beside the battery, all you have to do is pop the cover off, and it's ready for adjustment.
