1mz on 6.2psi= Safe???

I finally got my hands on a TRD s/c and it came used with a 6.2psi pulley on it. I know thats not safe on stock motors, but what if i use 2jz injectors and fuel pump? I plan on getting an S-afc soon too. Then in a few months, a CAI and Headers (from zerd), with an apex-i catback.. Tell me what you think

I am sure the 1MZ-FE will handle the boost, but you will have to ask yourself if you can get the 2JZ-GE injectors, fuel pump and SAFC installed before you install the supercharger with the 6lb pulley.

The 1MZ-FE can handle a lot of boost... I was running 15 lbs of boost on my 57-trim CT-26 turbo (which is a lot of forced air) for half a year. You don't have to worry about the actual engine internals blowing up because they are strong enough. But without fuel, it will blow up anyway, so get the fuel system done before running the S/C.

I agree totally with tony. Im planning to up to 6 pounds of boost soon but I will be putting in new injectors, fuel pump and fuel controller. In addition, im going to be mixing in Toluene to get around 95 octane just to be safe. You should definitely upgrade your fuel system before using that boost.
