OK I changed my brakes about a year before I bought these new 16 inch rims. I got 'em second hand with second hand tires. After buying them my cars rack died. I changed the Rack and power steering pump and got me an alignment. (At Pep Boys)
Ever since then the car dosnt wanna go straight. Even though I got like 3 wheel alignments done from 2 different shops.
When I hit the brakes on an uneven road the wheel will forcefully turn 90 degrees to the right sometimes. And when I brake on even roads I fill a little bit of force to the right. Also when I accellerate hard I feel the car pulling a little to the right.
When I get the car checked out no one can seem to pin point the problem. Everything seems to check out to them including the brakes. I changed so much trying to figure out the problem. I changed the bushing, both my rear struts, my water pump, power steering pump, power steering belt and the entire rack.
My dad swears up and down that its from the rims. So I had the wheels balanced. Still no luck. So I had them rotated to see if the car would pull to the left instead of the right. And even after rotating the wheels it still pulls to the right. can someone help?
Someone help cuz if I dont figure this out soon; I might have to trade in my first love for a HONDA! ::Cue dramatical music::
Please dont let that happen.....

if your new rims wider they may pull lil on
uneven road, but should be fine on even road.
sounds like alignment to me, find good shop
after installing new rack all you need 2 front wheels alignment,
if they did all 4 they may screw it up
Yeah the rims are wider. I didn't try putting on the old wheels because I traded them in for a discount on the new rims. I got the alignment at the pep boys in Astoria Queens. And I got the other alignment done in FLushing.
They supposedly aligned all 4 wheels.

Im saying alignment or tires, do an experiment and ask one of your friends if they got some stock tires to let you run on for a few test drives if the problem still presist take it to toyota?? Good Luck:p
I still think it might be your camber just because for some reason, rim installs and tire rotation at pep boys and les schwab always seem to mess up the front end alignment after they finish.
could only be a few things.
-you only got a front wheel alignment instead of 4 wheel
-wait, cant be camber pull since its a brake pull problem
-left front brake not working causing brake pull to the right
-sticking front right caliper
-misaligned rack(install error), alignment wont cure this.

my advise is you go take your car to a competent shop before you change any more parts. parts that are not broken can not be fixed.
Thanks alot guys for all your help. I'll deff have everything checked out like you said. And about the alignment, I deff got a 4 wheel alignment. I saw them do it.
I'm probably just gonna take it to toyota and have them see whats wrong and just pay the 80 dollar diagnostic fee.
