Radio Static/ Buzz Noise

I just bought a new 04 Camry yesterday. I am noticing a static/ buzz noise only when the radio or CD is on. It happens about once every 10 minutes and lasts for only a few seconds. The sound seems to be coming from all the speakers. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to point the dealer in the right direction as they try to fix it.

weird problem,
too bad you just got the car, (thats not a good sign of things to come)
Sounds like a connection problem on the stereo. Maybe its loose, or it may also be a grounding issue. Have them check to make sure the individual speaker wires arent grounded anywhere and make sure the stereo itself is grounded properly to the car. Just a thought,
it could also be galatic cosmic rays, or sun spots. You havent been experimenting with black holes right?

Could be from your cell phone if you have one in the car.

I too had a noise coming from the speakers. It was just from the door speakers though. I have a '03 SE model with the JBL system premium system. The noise was more noticable on lower frequency music notes. It took two trips to the dealer and aconversation with the service manager to get them to agree there was a problem. They changed the door speakers and have yet to hear the noise again.

Maybe the same noise, don't know. But I would not give up on getting their attenttion to the problem.
