as most of u guys know the aftermarket headlights burn out alot.....because stock wires cant support the wattage,,,,well i know someone that has created a wire kit for headlights..this kit consist of larger wires and a relay that can support up to 300 watts...most aftermarket bulbs are 130/100....this means that with this kit is helps prevent burning of bulbs and wires while giving more wattage,,,,,,if u guys are interested in these kits plz post....and also what would you guys pay for these kits...thanks.....

I agree with Danny, suvlights.com rocks! I bought an aftermarket wiring harness for my Grand Cherokee from them and they shipped very quickly and the products are great!

Is that really true? Or is it because the filament runs hotter and that burns out?

Most aftermarket bulbs are not 130/100 watts...they say they PRODUCE 130/100 watts but they're usually about 85 watts. A lot of them these days keep the stock wattage so that they don't burn out the wiring harness. I've never heard of relays being rated by wattage, aren't they usually rated by amps?
Dickson and I both made ours from materials from Crap Tire! Still going strong....
