Question about turn signal color...

I was wondering if it is illegal to have white turn signal in Massachusetts. I'm not a fan of amber color and was planning to change the yellow bulb to white. Also, my turn signal frame is yellow so if I put a white LED bulb, will my turn signal be bright yellow or bright orange? Thanks

Do you travel across state lines often? It seems there are varying codes/laws between states about only the bulb flashing amber, the need for a reflector amber in color, etc...

I did see some stuff about clear covers with bulbs that are clear but flash amber.

ADD: I've tried to get the text of the codes talked about in that thread, but keep getting fine schedules. MD has a site to view the laws here- I just can't find the one for MA :?
