USA Camry Steering Wheel Improvements

I am a new Camry owner and the first thing I noticed is the tilt of the steering wheel is not enough towards your body . I find myself stretching to hold the top of the wheel which is uncomfortable so I mostly use the bottom of the steering wheel. American men have long legs and we drive with the seat back and like a steering wheel we can lay our arm on top of. Telescopic would be nice so you could pull the wheel out to you some. Does anybody else feel they need emprovement in this area and how do we get the message to them?

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY. I cannot believe that noone would reply to this. Quess there is alot of short as american just like the japanese who drive these cars. Well when my lease runs out I will be checking out the new malibu to get some american technology on the steering wheel. It drives me crazy setting there so low with my hands in my lap and touching the steering wheel to drive. I refuse to push my seat up to discomfort my legs in order to get arm and hands on top of wheel. Hope somebody reads this like TOYOTA MANUFACTURERS AND THEIR DESIGN DEPARTMENT.

Yeah it's surprising that they don't offer an adjustable steering wheel in most of their models. I think the newer/luxury models do, but what can ya do? I'm short myself and wish I could lower the wheel a little bit. Ah I can't complain though. Camrys are great cars and generally speaking will outlast most American cars.

you can lower/adjust the steering wheel...mine is so low, my leg almost touches it. but i have long legs, and not as long arms...so i just usually steer by holding the bottom half of the wheel
