the manual look

Hey all.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/zer0five

(Scroll down about 3/4ths of the way)

How in the hell do you get that shift boot/shit knob to go like that? I'm just dying to do it. Could someone please tell me (in detail) exactly how to do it? I know I have to redirect the overdrive button, but that's not my primary concern. Fill me in people.

Talking Thats My Auto Sport Shifter

Thanks for admiring my auto sport shifter..Its real simple upgrade to do..All you need is a universal obx sport shift knob(push down shift) I got the carbon fiber look..Buy a manual boot of your choice I got mine boot from pep boys suprising and it matches..The obx push down shifter comes with all the necessary hardware and instruction to install..
1) Remove the old shift knob n redirect o/d button
2) Install the boot
3) Install the shift knob
4) Now you have the "manual look"

hope this helps

ok, i get what you need to get, but the thing is...

how do you take the cover/old shift knob off in the 1st place? I've looked in the owner's manual...no luck.

Then, how do i attach the shift boot?

If I don't redirect my o/d, is it always on? If not, I might as well not redirect it since i never use o/d.

For starters...i need to know how to take off the panel that says P-R-N-D-etc... off and the stuff around it... and then how to put on the boot..

Sorry, if i sound like a dick...but i really want what you have, i just don't know how!! arhg!!!!
