Quick question

Ok sorry if this post seems redundant, but not many people seem to answer my questions so yeah...

I'm going to be getting a new shift knob soon, but my question is this:

If i put a boot around it, will it cover up that metal rod that somewhat resembles a phalyic object (i.e. dildo)? Will the boot be big enough, or do I need to cut it? Also, how do i remove that annoying piece of plastic with the "P-R-N-D-2-L" on it? I see there's 4 plastic clamps and i loostened those, but something on the top is still holding it down.

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

dude, just take it apart, see how it works, then go to the junk yard and get the parts from a 5spd camry, its the exact same shit, you can figure it out when you get that stuff appart

a haynes manual tells you how to take apart the center console

Phallic. I hate to see a good word used poorly.
