I stumbled apon this, got all excited... then cried. I found glowing needle set for the guages, but their only for the gen4's...damn my 93... anyway procarparts.com if you want them... their mad nice.
I must say, procarparts rules. I just got my reverse-indiglo guages and cone filter/adapter in today (for my 2nd gen)... and I'm very happy. I'll have to take advantage of the nice weather we're having today and skip an hour of so of work to install the goods.
Hey guys! Im new to this forum and interested to be a part of your community
I own a 92 Camry V6 LE and i have purchased those indiglo needles u speak of. I received them about a week ago and i actually got a moment to sit down and try to install them today. I got to the gauges and wasn't able to remove the needles. I didnt wanna break them off so i left them alone for now. Anyone know a simple way of removing the needles from the gauges?
Also this is from theier website
1. Your vehicles gauges must have needles made of a Lexan based material. We do not provide new needles with the kit so the factory needles must be compatible. If your needles are clear with a white painted back, or another light colored back then the needles are made of a Lexan based material. Your needles have to be clear in the middle. It is ok if they are painted orange, white, or red on the top or bottom, as long as they are clear in the middle.
2. Just because your car is not on the list, does not mean it will not work
I did a thorogh check of the needles and they seem to be workable with the kit.
If i can remove the needles, i can fill u guys in if its compatible with the Gen3 Camry's  Thanks guys

Np man, i just have one problem. How can i remove the needles? it seems like their stuck on there good and i dont wanna break the thing..
I ordered the Sonic Blue ones, it goes good with my car
Cool, i got red gauges right now, and i think a blue needle would look just sick. Lemme see if i can find out about the needles.
just pull firmly, they won't break... the springs will however unwind. It took me a while to reset the tach when I pulled mine off. I can't imagine how hard it would be to reset the speedo. Its not something most shops will do cheaply either if you f*** up.
Good luck and post pics SOON
I might go for the red ones!
Laters.

Shops charge about CAD $35 to recalibrate the speedo... I think. Correct me if I am wrong. But that is not a bad price.
